The Christmas season is one of the most special times of the year in Downingtown. Each year, Downingtown Good Neighbor Christmas, Inc. brings our community together through two beloved traditions:

🎄 Tree Lighting  -  Saturday, November 28, 2026 | 5:30–7:00 PM

🎅 Christmas Parade  -  Saturday, December 12, 2026 | 3:00 PM

Both events are completely FREE to attend—and we want to keep them that way!

But we need your help.  The cost of providing these community celebrations continues to grow, and this year, your support is more important than ever.

A New Tree—and a Greater Need for Support

This year, we had to purchase a brand-new community Christmas tree after our previous tree reached the end of its useful life—lasting an impressive four years beyond its expected lifespan!  Our beautiful new tree is three feet taller and will serve as a centerpiece of Downingtown's Christmas celebration for years to come. Although we had funds set aside for this necessary purchase, the cost has greatly depleted the money available to fund this year's Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade.

We are asking Downingtown-area businesses, organizations, and friends to help us continue these treasured community traditions. Your sponsorship directly helps pay for:

Parade bands • Entertainment • Children's activities • Insurance • Decorations •

Event expenses • And more

And because these events are funded by Downingtown Good Neighbor Christmas, Inc.—not the Borough of Downingtown—community support is essential to making them possible.
